In Poland, after several decades of dictatorship of the communist system which, in its ideological zeal, destroyed many monuments, attempts were made to introduce a certain style of so-called socialist realism also in the construction of housing, large slabs and simple, almost ugly single-family houses, the constant lack of building materials gave the impression of a kind of ugliness, grayness and at the same time caused a lack, a thirst for beauty in construction. Since gaining freedom, it is seen that many investors attach great importance to aesthetics and beauty in finishing the interiors and facades of residential buildings. Wood, stone, brick and concrete are increasingly used in raw and minimally transformed form. Several hundred, even decades ago, these were basic materials. Today when we build walls from blocks, boards, etc. and we insulate them with polystyrene or wool, the need for contact with nature in our own home is still very strong. The theme of this short study will be tiling imitating old brick. We offer tiles in different colors, from white to brick red, from brown to almost black.
