ImperGuard® impregnation is a waterproof and high-performance product that protects walls, facades and roofs against humidity. Imper-Guard® penetrates deep into the pores of the material, making it waterproof, and thus prevents the harmful effects of humidity: infiltration, acid rain, erosion, freeze/thaw cycle, growth of moss and lichens, appearance of cement blooms, formation of calcium blooms, etc. The chemical composition of the solution also allows it to act as a product of the solvent phase. Thus, the waterproof properties of ImperGuard® become visible very quickly (within a few hours to 3 days). ImperGuard® also has a dust-repellent effect. The preparation hardens the surface of the materials. ImperGuard® is a penetrating, non-film-forming product. The substrate remains permeable to air and water vapor. The impregnation is completely colorless after application and does not modify the appearance or properties of the impregnated material. In addition, it is completely resistant to UV rays and does not yellow over time. Biodegradable > 90%* in 28 days. Volatile organic compounds < 1 g/l Effectiveness: Effectiveness depends on the porosity of the support. The following value should be considered as general information: 3 to 6 m2 / liter Method of application: Preparation of the surface: Apply the product to a clean, dust-free, degreased and dry surface. Do not dilute. Shake the package well before use. Always perform a test on the media. The support must be impregnated until saturation by applying one or two coats “wet on wet”. Always apply from bottom to top. Do not overload the media - remove excess preparation before it dries. Risk of white spots if applied too much. Protected drying: 24 hours.
